WEL is proud to present The Not for Profit Boards and Directors Workshop offering a comprehensive look at key aspects of Not For Profit Board membership, how to qualify for a Not For Profit Board, a comparison/contrast between Not For Profit and Public Board membership, as well as the risks/rewards of Not For Profit Board membership.
Leading the workshop is Ms. Bonnie Crabtree, Senior Client Partner and Office Managing Director, Korn/Ferry International in Miami, and a leading member of the Firm’s Global Consumer Market, specializing in both, Consumer Products and Travel, Leisure and Hospitality Sectors across the Southeast.
Details:
Ms. Crabtree currently sits on the Boards of Big Brothers Big Sisters, Community Partnership for the Homeless, and the Miami-Dade County Animal Service Foundation. She is on the Advisory Committee of Women in Executive Leadership. In 2007, Ms. Crabtree was presented with the Association of Executive Search Consultant’s Eleanor H. Raynolds Award based on a career of excellence in executive search, as well as an ongoing dedication to volunteerism and improving the community.
She is widely recognized for her high commitment to client service and global partnering. Ms. Crabtree’s domestic and international assignments have spanned a wide variety of functions. Her searches are mainly at the President, Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Chief Information Officer and senior executive levels in general management, sales and marketing, and human resources.
Ms. Crabtree is a member of the Board Services Practice and has worked in merger, acquisition and turnaround situations. Her human resources consulting experience includes projects in organization, compensation and management assessment. Ms. Crabtree joined Korn Ferry in 1993 in Atlanta before moving to Miami in 1998. Earlier, she spent ten years with Norrell Corporation, as Director of Human Resources where she was responsible for compensation and benefits, executive recruitment, training and employee relations. Her early career was spent teaching in American high schools and colleges in Germany. Ms. Crabtree holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s degree in administration from Tennessee Technological University.
